China for Beginners

China for Beginners is a travel series in which 10 Flemish celebrities, experts in a particular field, discover and investigate their own field of expertise in the mysterious and constantly changing China. Chinese author Lulu Wang guides them during their interesting journey.

These ten travellers each have a special fascination for China. The main focus of their journey is to learn more about their specific own field of expertise and how that is handled locally, but of course through their travels they will be exposed to and uncover many different aspects of the Chinese society and culture.

The celebrities who travel to the East are Filip Meirhaeghe, Raf Walschaerts, Jan Fabre, Kaat Tilley, Martine Tanghe, Goedele Liekens, Patrick Janssens, Dirk Draulans, Gunter Lamoot and Daan Stuyven.
