In 2005 Kanakna entered the US market under a development overall deal with Warner Brothers Telepictures.
In 2006 Philip Plough was the first US citizen to join Kanakna. He is in charge of the Los Angeles office and oversees the co-development and co-production deals that Kanakna has set up with different US production companies.
